Omar D’Angelo of Barroluco Argentine Comfort Food shares some special dishes and the recipe for their famous empanadas, a fried turnover common in Latin America.

Estudie Administracion hotelera en la Universidad Apec en Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana, Optuve el Titulo de Bachelor con un Minor en Mercadeo, en mis comiensos trabaje para el area financier y commercial de la principal distribuidora electrica de republica dominicana, siempre estuve inclinada hacia el renglon de Alimentos y Bebidas, en el ano 2003 incursione en el area de alientos y bebidas, como co-propietaria de un café bar en el area de santo domingo, esto me permition adquirir valiosa experiencia en este renglon.
MEET VICTOR OMAR D’ANGELO
Victor Omar D’Angelo moved to Columbus, Ohio from Medoza Argentina in 2000. By 2009 the family established D’Angelo’s Bakery, making special occasion cakes! In 2012 they participated in their first Festival Latino. In 2014 Barroluco is born and trademarked, with a food truck following in 2016. Serving over 5,000 empanadas a day at the Festival Latino, their popularity grew and they opened the doors to their first brick and mortar location in 2018.
